St Gemma’s Winter Ball

St Gemma’s Winter Ball

This year's Winter Ball, held at Leeds United, was bigger and better than ever with 400 guests joining in the pre Christmas festivities. After a fabulous meal, guests were treated to the amazing sounds of 13 piece swing band "Mr Swing" who had the dance floor packed.

The chocolate fountain proved to be very popular and for the more intrepid, drinking black vodka from the ski jump ice sculpture was great fun although rather messy if their concentration lapsed! The event raised £9,500 for St. Gemma's Hospice which is the most it has ever raised. Organiser Malcolm Moss was delighted with the amount of money raised and is already planning the 2007 Winter Ball which will be held on November 24th 2007.
