Make A Dream 12th Annual Dinner

Founded in 1994 by Francine Levin after she discovered she had Breast Cancer. Make A Dream is a charity set up to help sick and terminally ill children in Yorkshire realise their dreams. In the past 12 years the charity have helped 100’s of cases including trips to Disneyland by helicopter, swimming with dolphins and a holiday in Filey.
The charity consists of a small committee of just three couples and the Dinner is their biggest annual event. The evening, held on Thursday 9th November, filled the conference hall at Elland Road with many of Yorkshire's top companies attending. Guests came from far and wide including London, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Cardiff. Special guests were Jimmy Tarbuck British legend of comedy and entertainment and John Peters the RAF Tornado pilot and Gulf war hero who faced imprisonment and torture after his plane was shot down in Iraq in 1991.
