The Pink Ball took place on 4th November to raise money for Breast Cancer UK and Breast Cancer Care. Event organiser Sarah Pattinson was delighted with the £13,000.00 raised.

300 guests arrived at the Village Hotel in Leeds where they were treated to a magical display of trickery whilst they enjoyed pre- dinner drinks and formal photographs. The evening continued with a four course meal during which Jill Ryder sang a range of ballads which thrilled the audience. Carl Kingston, DJ and Broadcaster provided the music after all the formalities were over.

The first ball held in 2005 was organised in recognition of Sarah's sister Kimberley O'Rourke who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer in 2004. Kim, who has been through a great deal over the past two years has now pledged to walk the Great Wall of China in April 2007 to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. In order to take part in the walk Kim has to get sponsors, please log on to her website http://www.justgiving.com/kimor if you would like to help.

To date Sarah and Kim have raised £23,930.00 for Breast Cancer Charities since 2005 and would like to thank everyone who has supported their events.
