Champagne & Chiffon Ball

The first 'Champagne and Chiffon' Charity Ball held at the venue at Eccup, Leeds behind The New Inn was organised by Shirley Ibbotson, her partner Darren Morley and her three daughters Kelly, Kirsty and Charlotte.

A red carpet walkway led 200 guests into the fabulous, fully lined and carpeted marquee. The trimmings and ice dolphin added to the setting. Guests enjoyed a three course meal and entertainment from Tony Barton. Terry Yorath gave an after dinner speech.

D.J Daniel Dancer and M.C Bryan Hall kept the evening running along smoothly whilst holding an auction and raffle with prizes kindly donated by many companies and local businesses.

The Ball was held to raise money for the new Yorkshire Cancer Centre in Leeds. Shirley, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer four years ago, will be starting shortly to organise next year’s Ball which is to be held sometime in July.
