Who’s the Boss?

Since time began women have been deceiving men, whilst at the same time men believe they are deceiving women. The most important thing to remember is never ever let him think you are in control, or he will flex his muscles and feel the need to exercise his authority. However, if he thinks he is in charge you can get away with most things.

Mum knows best

My mum used to say, "Let him get away with what you don't care about and don't let him know you know", by doing this when you do put your foot down he will think OK, she doesn't know about X. If he is doing something you dislike, adopt a degree of "I'm not bothered" and before you know it he will be trying to justify it to you.

He thought of it first

Always let him think he came up with this fantastic idea. Drop little hints, but be subtle. If he smells a rat you could lose out.
Eventually he should come to you with this idea he has thought of. At this point be calm, as over enthusiasm could turn his light on.

People should not have to play tricks or mind games, but we do live in the real world where what we want and often what we get are two very different things.

Action plan

Decide what you want, then identify a few key facts about it. Now tell him about this amazing thing you have seen. Like the
colour the price and where you have seen it. Be brief though, don't raise his suspicions. The hard bit is the waiting. Do not crack, he will bring it up. Oh remember; never mention it when he has had a few drinks.

Confused facts

If you're not keen on option one try throwing a load of facts at him, saying you don't understand why they or she can have
one, when you both work so hard etc. his male ego is now in overdrive. Again sit back and wait.

Finally, if all else fails, bring in the third party, ideally a woman, as men won't like deceiving other men (would you?). Ask them to drop hints; this is probably the easiest way and the one I would use. In fact come to think of it I have and it worked a treat.
