The days when chatelaine Aileen Plunket, granddaughter to Arthur Guinness regularly threw extravagant parties for the rich and famous at Luttrellstown Castle may have long gone but in many ways her legacy lives on.

In more recent times a fresh vibrancy has been injected into this amazing venue. The redevelopment work now complete on both the golf course and the club house. Luttrellstown Castle is now truly a world class venue.

July 1999 put this amazing venue on the map as the wedding of David & Victoria Beckham took place here.

Other guests over the years have included Princess Grace of Monaco, Prince Rainier, Queen Marguerite of Denmark plus actors David Niven and former US president Ronald Regan have partied here, as have actors Paul Newman and Fred Astaire. In more recent times Sheikh Mohammed used the place as a base when on business. Musicians REM and Faith Hill have also visited.
