Nowadays there are no real rules to what is to be expected at a wedding reception. Tailor-made weddings are entirely acceptable. This is especially true when the couple decides on any entertainment they may wish to provide at the reception. For a truly unique wedding reception, casinos and magicians are an excellent touch. Mobile casinos are a perfect distraction from the monotony of a dance floor and are a great idea if the guests are a variety of ages. Ice cream vans and mobile cocktail bars are the perfect treat for a summer wedding. The ice cream will keep small and big children alike quiet and content, whereas the cocktails can be a showpiece as well as an alternative to the normal beers and wines on offer at a wedding.

For the perfect end to a perfect day, fireworks are a spectacular choice. This is a very expensive choice, however, so must be carefully considered. There should be an announcement to guests in order to inform them that the display is beginning. For a budget version of this, each guest could receive two sparklers {one lit and 1 unlit in case of the couple leaving later than intended} in order to bade the couple farewell.

When considering entertainment think seriously about the cost and whether it is worth it. Also, make sure the entertainment is not irritating for the guests. It should be enjoyable and attract their attention rather than embarrass or drive them away.
